Lenk arrived early morning on the day scheduled. They brought six guys and several trucks and pieces of equipment, including a large bucket truck that they used to trim the Bradford pear. The crew knows what they’re doing. Within a few minutes of their arrival, the lower oak tree limbs were falling, and within 15 minutes the first oak tree was laying in the street. They worked very efficiently, and each guy knew his job. They were here and gone–three trees down, three others trimmed, and everything cleaned up–within just over two hours. The man who trimmed the Bradford pear did a beautiful job. Took the tree back all around by about 4 to 6 feet, and left it with a really nice shape. I’m sure when it leafs out in the spring it’ll be perfect. One of the spruces they trimmed was next to our new Azek deck. They had to go up on the deck and also the roof, and they were very careful when moving the patio furniture and placing their ladder. The crew cleaned everything up very well, raking up all the leaves and small branches that fell. They also raked and rough graded out the areas where the trees were removed and stumps ground. The only things I had to clean up later were small branches that fell out of the Bradford pear after a spell of wind the next day, and some wood chips in the grass where they had ground stumps. The only thing I’d do differently is to ask them not to try to grind out as big an area around the stumps, which they did to try to get the surface roots. I’d have been happy with just the a few feet on either side of the stump. Two of these areas are between our sidewalk and curb, and I’ll probably be reseeding, or sodding, that entire strip in the spring anyway, so no big deal, but it’s something to consider if you’re having this work done. I originally had three companies bid this job about a year ago, and the other two companies’ bids were considerably higher than Lenk. When I decided to do the work this year, I called Lenk to confirm their bid and it was pretty much the same.

We had a situation with a tree that had split and was in danger of falling on to our neighbor’s home. We called another highly rated tree service, but they were unable to schedule an estimate until the following week. Our second choice was Lenk Tree Service and they came out the same day as the phone call to provide an estimate. The next day, they removed the tree and the stump while we were at work.

It went very well. They were here less than 2 hours and had everything done and cleaned up. The crew was well organized and everyone seemed to know their job and kept right on moving. No wasted time or effort.

They arrived at 7:15am and we’re cutting by 7:30 am. Both trees were down, stumps ground up and cleaned up by 4pm.

We recommend Lenk Tree Service to anyone. They are very professional and our work was completed in a short time. The work was excellent and the price very reasonable. Any future work we may need done, Lenk will be the first call we make.

Getting the estimate was easy and clearly written. Don’t get shocked about the price, it is expensive to get trees down. Go with someone with experience and insurance. This way if something goes wrong you are safe. Lenk has been around for a long time and are very professional and knowledgeable as well as easy to work with. The day they came to cut the trees it was like a small army had showed up. Equipment of all sizes rolled in and started getting in place. All the guys knew their jobs and were in place quickly and efficiently. They used a boom truck and worked their way up the tree cutting off the branches as they went. When he reached the top he started lopping off the main trunk and worked his way down until he hit bottom. While he was dropping the pieces down those on the ground started the cleanup work. Moving branches to the mulching machine and cutting up the bigger pieces to place in the truck. First tree in the driveway took 20 minutes to bring it down. A few minutes to work on the clean up and they were ready for the next tree. The driveway tree was a half dead maple and about 40 feet tall. The next tree was almost a 70 foot dead ash tree. It was in a very tricky location for the access of the boom truck. With a bit of precise maneuvering he was able to go under the power cables and get the boom up. This tree had been dropping big limbs and wasn’t safe for the guys to climb so the boom truck was necessary. Once in position it was just like the smaller tree, the army moved in and limb by limb it came down. Very impressive to watch the boom operator! The guys on the ground worked easy going in and out picking up the limbs while he cut and dropped them. They all worked like men who’d worked together for a long time. Their cleanup job was great and all that was left was some sawdust. We did not get the stumps ground down. Overall it was a great experience working with Lenk Tree Service and the gentleman on this crew. They worked safely, cared about their job and doing it correctly and cleaned up much better then I thought was possible. No doubt they are on our list for future tree work. Thanks guys!

My three Crape Myrtles had grown beyond anything I could handle so I looked on Angie’s List for a contractor and fortunately I found Lenk Tree Service. They came out and estimated the job, provided an estimate and arrived on site to perform the job on Oct 8th-13. They pruned all three trees, the largest being around twenty five feet tall, shaped all the tree to my satisfaction, cleaned up as they went , ground up the branches and cleaned the site. I highly recommend Lenk Tree Service, use the, you will like what they do.
